Pet Hospice & Euthanasia

pet euthanasiaWhile it may be the hardest decision you have to make, the quality of your pet’s life should be the central issue.  As part of our commitment to the human-animal bond, we offer quality of life and pain assessment exams to help in making a euthanasia decision.

Euthanasia is a very personal experience and those last moment should be private and comfortable.  We try to schedule these appointments when a high volume of clientele is not in the building, so that you can take your time and the experience can be stress-free and peaceful for you and your pet.  You can choose to be present or not be present for the euthanasia.

Deepwood Veterinary Clinic works with Pet Memorial Services for our cremation needs.  This company’s goal is to be of comfort to owners by assuring them that their pet is treated in a thoughtful, respectful and caring manner.  They offer private viewings at that facility if desired, and ensure each pet is accurately tracked while in their care. In turn, they can pledge to owners that the remains returned to them are absolutely and positively identifiable as their pet.  For more information on Pet Memorial Services please visit their web site.
